Influence of the Fabrication Conditions on the Physical Properties and Water Treatment Efficiency of Cellulose Acetate Porous Membranes

In membrane-based water purification technology, control of the membrane pore structure is fundamental to defining its performance. The present study investigates effect preparation conditions on final size distribution and dye removal efficiency cellulose acetate membranes. membranes were fabricated by means phase inversion (using different speeds film casting thicknesses casted solution) introducing modifications in conditions, such as use a coagulation bath instead pure addition surfactant solution additive.
